Handling/Precautions

Follow precautions normally taken for handling lube oil stocks. This product is temperature sensitive. Do not heat over the maximum loading/unloading temperature to avoid possible release of extremely

odorous alkyl marcaptans and / or toxic hydrogen sulfide.
Localized high temperatures should be avoided during.
Electrical steam or hot oil heating systems with a self-limiting maximum temperature not exceeding 120 deg. C/250deg.F(e.g.low pressure steam at 2 bar (g) or 30 psig) are recommended.

Description

GCK177 is a performance additive package for formulating premium and super premium quality gasoline engine oils. It has been developed to meet critical North America and European OEM specifications as well as API SG/CD trough API SL/CF/CF4 and Global DHD-1 specifications. Lubricants formulated with GCK177P can also be used in passenger car engines requiring API SL or ACEA A3/ B3 / B4 category products. Development of GCK177P was conducted according to the principles of the ACC and ATC Codes of Practice.

Description

GCK177D is a performance additive package for formulating premium and super premium quality diesel engine oils. Used at the recommended treat rate in combination with approved base stocks and viscosity modifier , GCK177D provides engine oils meeting the API performance category CI-4, among others .It has been developed to meet the most important North American, European OEM and industry specifications . Lubricants formulated with Petronak can also be used in gasoline engines requiring API SL category products . It is packed in 200 liter metal drums, IBC`s or in bulk. Store in dry, clean and well ventalited warenhauses.

GCK156 is a minimum treatment rate cost effective package designed to cover API performance categories from API SB – API SF The performance is supported with engine testing at key specification leves.Boosteres are available to use this product for higher level of gasoline lubricant quality levels if required.

API CD WITH 11 TBN

Description

GCK199 is a minimum treatment rate cost effective package designed to cover API CD performance giving a 10TBN and US military performans for combind engine gearboxes.

Special Features

GCK199 has been formulated for use in traditional group I base oil for applications that require high TBN and to lubricate heavy duty diesel applications where combined engine and gear lubricants are required.it is especially suitable where diesel fuel carries more sulphur than the 25 ppm mandated in Europe.

GCK199 is used at the treatment levels shown in the following table.it is blended with mineral base oil, a pour point depressant and optionally a polymer to make a multigrade, according to blending procedure guidelines available.

Applications

Minimize decomposition and/ or hydrogen sulphide evolution, do not blow or mix whit wet gas, prevent any contact with water. Facilities should be designed to handle ZDDP’s without heating. If heating is required, a careful review is essential to insure

That the product is not overheated as overheating can result in hydrogen sulphide, mercaptan and olefine evolution due to zddp decomposition.

The product may be blended and handled at temperatures up to 140 F.(80 C) but long term storage at temperatures higher than 100 F .(40 C) should be avoided.

Air contanct with heated product should be avoided it may result in a discoloration.
